A Pisa and Lucca day trip from Florence is the most rewarding way to discover two of Tuscany’s most beloved cities — with a private MPV and English-speaking driver picking you up directly from your hotel. Two completely different Tuscan experiences in a single, comfortable day.
The first stop is Pisa, world-famous for its Leaning Tower, as well as the imposing Baptistery and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, which together form the spectacular Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles). A photo at the Tower, time to walk the marble square, and the story of how it all came to lean.
We then continue to charming Lucca, a medieval jewel known for its perfectly preserved Renaissance walls, charming cobbled streets, and unique atmosphere. A walk along the tree-lined walls (now a 4km park), an espresso in one of the historic piazzas, and time to feel a city that locals still live in. Portuguese/Spanish driver
Available for an additional €50 — subject to driver availability. Please request in advance when booking so we can confirm.
Optional: Climb the Leaning Tower
The climb requires a separate ticket booked in advance (€20 per person) and a timed entry. Let us know if you’d like us to arrange this when booking.

Why combine Pisa and Lucca
Pisa is iconic but small (most travellers see it in 2-3 hours). Lucca is the discovery — a complete medieval city most tourists skip. Together they make a perfect Tuscan day.
What to wear
Comfortable walking shoes. The walls of Lucca involve some walking but no climbing. Sun protection essential in summer (Pisa’s square has no shade).
