Then a ferry ride to Bellagio — the ‘pearl of Lake Como’, the famously beautiful village at the junction of the lake’s three branches. Pricing by group size
€950 for 2 people · €1.050 for 4 people · €1.100 for 6 people. Total tour fee, not per person. Includes the MPV, driver, fuel, tolls and ferry tickets to Bellagio.
Optional villas
Villa Carlotta and Villa Melzi (botanical gardens) are beautiful and can be added to the day — about €15 entry each. Most visitors stick with Bellagio’s centre but the villas are worth it for garden lovers.
Driver vs guide
This is a self-guided day trip with a private driver — not a guided tour. The driver speaks basic English and gives orientation but does not provide commentary at each stop.
Ferry alternatives
We can also do this tour entirely by road (no ferry) — Como, then drive around to Bellagio. Faster but loses the magical boat ride. Most travellers prefer with the ferry.
Summer crowds
July and August are busy. We recommend early starts (8am from Milan) and choosing weekdays over weekends if possible.
Como's cathedral
Free to enter. One of the most beautiful in Lombardy — Romanesque exterior with Renaissance and Gothic additions. The choir is particularly striking.
What to wear
Comfortable walking shoes (Bellagio’s alleys involve steps). Layers — the lake can be cooler than Milan. Sun protection essential in summer. Bellagio dresses smart-casual.
